To strengthen our position as the premier physician provider of health care, the Physician Foundation values its partnerships with institutions and other medical groups. Our partners include:

  • California Pacific Medical Center: One of the largest private, not-for-profit, academic medical centers in California and a Sutter Health affiliate.

  • Brown & Toland Medical Group: We have a close working relationship with Brown & Toland physicians, offering our patients world-class care in a wide range of primary and specialty fields of medicine.

  • Marin General Hospital: As the largest acute care hospital in Marin County, Marin General is licensed for 235 acute care beds and works in close partnership with Novato Community Hospital. Marin General is a Sutter Health affiliate.

  • Novato Community Hospital: This general acute care hospital and Sutter Health affiliate has served the Marin community since 1961, providing for the health care needs of more than 175,000 Marin County residents.

    Private Practice Partners
    The Physician Foundation strives to continue the private practice model of medicine in San Francisco and Marin. Private practice physicians refer patients needing specialty care to our members.     Community Partners
    The Physician Foundation is an active community participant in the Bayview Child Health Center and the city's Hep B Free Program. Our team also participates in community health events.
